April is National Poetry Month and the Olmsted Society is once again sponsoring the Reflections on Riverside Poetry and Imagery Contests. Students residing in Riverside and neighboring communities are invited to experience Riverside's National Landmark landscape and to create poetry of any length or style reflecting upon it.
High School students may enter the Imagery Contest for a chance to win a $100 first prize or a $25 second prize.
The poetry contest is open to younger students and awards $25 to the winner in grades 1 - 5 and $50 to the winner in grades 6 - 8.
Rules and entry forms are available on the Olmsted Society website.
