[ARCHIVED] Holiday Light Recycling

NEW THIS YEAR, the Village has partnered with Elgin Recycling to collect and recycle unwanted holiday lights. Lights that will be accepted for this program are: Mini-lights (or Italian lights), C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights, extension cords, etc. All colors and lengths will be accepted. Residents will be able to drop off unwanted holiday lights at the Village Office, Police Department and Parks & Recreation Department. Lights can be dropped off between December 15 and February 1. Elgin recycles the metal and some plastic components of the lights.
