This weekend is the first weekend for Boo at the Zoo and with the nice weather you may see large crowds visiting the zoo over the weekend.
This could mean heavy traffic in the area of First Avenue, 31st Street, Ridgewood, and Golf Road.
This notification is simply to let residents know there may be major traffic delays in the area this weekend in order to help plan their weekend activities.
Brookfield Zoo and their police department have prepared for the possibility of large crowds for this family event. Riverside Police will monitor traffic flow and will assist the Brookfield Zoo Police Department if requested to do so.
