The Des Plaines River is currently at a depth of 7.5 feet and is expected to crest in Riverside later today at a depth of 7.6 feet. This is defined as Minor Flood Stage which means the Swan Pond area will be taking on water. At this time, NO STREET FLOODING is anticipated in the Village of Riverside. Village staff continues to monitor the river level and will do so until the water recedes.
