Village focused on preventing food waste

In 2019, the United Nations designated September 29th International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction. Food waste is not only a problem globally but often happens right in our own kitchens. For example, an average family in the U.S. throws away $1,500 in uneaten food each year! 

Riverside is focused on this issue and will share helpful tips during the month of October.
