Road-closed-signs-detour-traffic

The MWRD sewer lining project will be shifting their staging from Forest Avenue to Longcommon on Thursday, May 18th. The new staging location will be on the east side of Longcommon just north of the BNSF railroad tracks. The easternmost northbound lane of Longcommon/Riverside Road will be closed from Quincy Street to Burlington Street while this phase of sewer repair and lining is underway. Once the staging has been shifted to Longcommon, Forest Ave. will reopen to two way traffic.

Northbound Riverside Road remains closed from Olmsted to Gage for this same project.

Motorists should expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the downtown. Please utilize caution when driving and follow the posted detours.

The Village appreciates your patience during construction.

Please check the Village website for construction and traffic updates.
