[ARCHIVED] Voter Registration, Vote by Mail and Early Voting - April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election

Online voter registration or transfers of registration for the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election will be open from March 2 - March 19, 2023.  

During that time, you may register to vote online at the Illinois State Board of Elections website with your Driver’s License or State I.D.

If you think that you may already be registered to vote, you can check by using the State Board of Elections Voter Registration Lookup at any time.

Residents may also register to vote in person at one of the six Cook County locations, or from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays in the Administration office on the first floor of the Village Hall, 27 Riverside Road. Two pieces of identification are required, including one with your current address. Photo ID’s are not required.

Any registered suburban Cook County voter may request a mail-in ballot. Once your registration is verified and application processed, Cook County will send a paper ballot to the mailing address that you designate in your application. The deadline to apply, including email verification, is five days before an election (March 30, 2023). The last day mail-in ballots can be postmarked is election day (April 4, 2023).

Early voting will take place March 20 - April 3 at multiple locations throughout Cook County including:

  • Brookfield Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, IL 60513
  • Lyons Village Hall, 4200 S Lawndale Avenue, Lyons, IL 60534
