The Village of Riverside Landscape Advisory Commission (LAC) currently has two open positions for Commissioners. These are volunteer positions. The LAC prepares and recommends to the Boards of Trustees a master landscape plan for all public areas, prepares an inventory of all trees and plantings within Riverside parks, and advises the Board of Trustees on treatment and disease prevention methods for all plantings.
Any Riverside resident may apply to be a Commissioner on a Village Commission. Experience in a field related to the work of the commission is helpful but not mandatory.
Interested residents are encouraged to fill out a volunteer form at the link below, and attend the LAC meeting on September 13 at 7:00 p.m., to see how the Commission works.

The Landscape Advisory Commission meets monthly, on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Village Hall, 27 Riverside Road.
All members of boards, commissions and committees are appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees.
