The Riverside Residential Rental Registration Program, approved in 2021, begins on January 1, 2022. When rental property owners complete required registration, the village, property managers, and tenants will be able to effectively and efficiently communicate important or urgent information. Individual rental unit inspections, which will take place once in a three-year cycle, are intended to identify undesirable and adverse effects generated by the presence of substandard, unsafe and/or non-code compliant rental housing properties.
