Riverside Police Department is seeking candidates interested in a rewarding law enforcement career.

A competitive, written exam will be held Saturday, May 9, 2020.

Applications for the exam must be submitted by 4 PM Thursday, April 9, 2020.

Riverside police officers are vital to ensuring that Riverside is a safe and secure community,” said Chief Tom Weitzel. “I urge anyone interested in a rewarding law enforcement career and helping to keep Riverside a safe and thriving community to take time to apply to become a Riverside police officer.”

Applicants must be at least 21 at the time of appointment and no more than 35 at the time of the exam (military service may extend eligibility). They must pass a medical screening, drug screening, an agility test, psychological screening, background check, and complete a four-month residential police basic academy.
