Village President Ben Sells is supporting the legislative efforts of Rep. Michael Zalewski to restore Local Government Distributive Funding (LGDF) to Illinois municipalities. "Rep. Zalewski understands that the strength of our State flows directly from the strength of our communities," said President Sells. "The LGDF was established as a mechanism to efficiently share taxpayer dollars with towns and villages that provide direct, basic services to our residents. It was wrong when that share was cut, and I am proud that Rep. Zalewski is trying to right that wrong."
