Riverside Residents: TRAFFIC ALERT!
Brookfield Zoo expects a crowd this weekend for the Holiday Magic festivities. It’s anticipated that high traffic volumes will occur late Friday afternoon and be heavy throughout the weekend. With weather forecasted at 40-48 degrees, and only a slight chance of rain, Brookfield Zoo staff is preparing for large crowds.
Please use caution and patience when traveling the Brookfield Zoo area. Main areas that may be congested are First Avenue, Ridgewood & First, and 31st Street. Taking into consideration the construction underway at First and Ridgewood, traffic volumes could be extremely heavy. Expect delays.
