In Spring of 2017, the Village Board directed staff to complete a Request for Qualifications for a study of village facilities. Following the RFQ, Williams Architects was awarded a contract to conduct an analyis of the village's existing facilities and make recommendations for improvements. The firm completed their research and on June 21, 2018, Mark Bushhouse of Williams Architects, provided an overview of the Village’s space needs. On August 16, 2018, Mr. Bushhouse outlined the various options for a new facility and also detailed costs to remodel and maintain the existing buildings. Riverside TV has filmed the existing facilities so residents can gain a better perspective on current conditions. In addition to the discussions held by the Village Board, input was also sought from various village commissions and boards. To view the findings presented to the the Village Board by Williams Architects, please visit the Current Planning Efforts section of the village website.
