The annual budget is a collaborative process which involves departments, advisory commissions, and elected officials and scrutinizing all expenses to ensure the public’s money is well spent. To ensure the residents are fully informed of all budget related activities, the department coordinates budget workshops and hearings. These hearings are designed to provide the Board of Trustees and the public with easy to understand details of revenues and expenditures without any confusing jargon.
