Riverside Independence Day 5K

Four Ladies at the Riverside 5k Run
4th Annual 5K at the Water Tower
Register for the Riverside 5K today online or at the Historic Water Tower. Registration must be completed by 5 PM, July 2nd. It is also available at the Riverside Recreation Department at 10 Pine Avenue, Riverside, IL Mon – Fri 9 AM – 6 PM. You may also register by mailing in the bottom portion of this form. (All mail-in registration must be postmarked by June 15).

Fees
$30 on or before June 15.
$35 June 16 – July 3rd
$40 Race Day Registration from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM sharp.
Shirt size not guaranteed for registrations taken after June 15th

Packet Pick Up
Will be available at the Riverside Recreation Department at 10 Pine Avenue, Riverside, IL beginning June 29 at 9:00 AM. (Dept. hours are Mon – Fri 9 AM – 6 PM)  Race Day packet pickup will start at 6:30 AM. Athletic Performance Tee with timely registration!

Awards
First Female & Male overall will receive a plaque. Top 3 male and female per age group will receive medals. Every attempt will be made to present the awards as quickly as possible after the last runner has crossed the finish line. 

Age groups men & women: 14 & under / 15-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 /30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70+

Directions & Parking
Arrive early to locate parking in the vicinity of 10 Pine Avenue in Riverside.  Metra:  The start of the race is located on the north side of the Burlington Northern Railroad at the Riverside stop.  By Car: Exit Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) at 1st Avenue, south to Forest Avenue, which leads to the Riverside Historic Water Tower (race start/finish site).  Exit Stevenson Expressway (I-55) at 1st Avenue, north to Forest Avenue, which leads the Riverside Historic Water Tower (race start/finish site).

5K Course
 USATF Certified # IL16005NM. To ensure the safety of all participants, please adhere to the following: No Dogs.  No Bikes. No Skates/Blades. No Strollers. Runners have one hour to complete the course.

Start & Finish
Riverside's Historic Water Tower located at 10 Pine Avenue will be the location of the race start and finish. 

Water/Aid Stations:
Water will be available at the 2-mile mark on the course. The Riverside Fire Department Volunteers will be on duty to handle any medical emergencies.
